What is the Hotel Badge?

The Hotel Badge is an accreditation issued by the Cantonal Police of Grisons, allowing hotel guests to access hotel premises and designated security zones during the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Which areas require this badge?

The badge grants access to the following key areas:
  • Grandhotel Belvédère
  • Hotel AlpenGold
  • Hilton Hotel
  • Facilities along Promenade 95–101
Access to these venues is strictly prohibited without the Hotel Badge.

What are the security protocols for the Hotel Badge?

To ensure safety during the World Economic Forum, the Cantonal Police of Grisons strictly regulates access to security zones. Key security protocols include:
  • Only approved individuals receive badges after thorough background checks.
  • All individuals in security zones must wear their badge at all times.
  • Badges must be used in accordance with police-issued guidelines to maintain heightened security standards.

How long is the Hotel Badge valid?

The badge is valid for the entire duration of the World Economic Forum, spanning one week.

What is the process for obtaining the Hotel Badge?

You can obtain this badge by attending the Eonik event. After purchasing a ticket, Eonik will submit your registration details to the hotel for approval. The hotel only accepts badge requests from trusted entities and reserves the right to decline any application without explanation.After the hotel's review, the list of approved individuals is sent to the Cantonal Police of Grisons for a background check. Please note that police processing charges are nonrefundable, and cancellations, name changes, or mismatched details—such as discrepancies between your submitted information and your passport—will result in badge denial. Refunds are not available under any circumstances, even for duplicate badge requests or errors in submission. Once the police check is completed, the hotel will inform Eonik whether the badge has been approved or denied. This process can take up to one week.

Where can I pick up my badge?

Once confirmed, badges can be collected from January 13, 2025, at the registration office:Bahnhofstrasse 3,

For security reasons, badges are issued only to the individual whose name appears on the registration, and a photo will be taken on-site. This photo will be printed on the badge and used for identification at security checkpoints. You must bring a valid passport for verification, and the submitted name and date of birth must match your passport exactly. Digital copies of identification are not accepted, and badges cannot be issued if the information provided does not align with your identification.

How long will it take to pick up my badge?

Due to the high volume of attendees, expect long lines, particularly during the first few days of the Annual Meeting. It is highly recommended to allow plenty of time for the badge pickup process to ensure timely access to the event and associated venues.
